Michigan Apple Queen to Act as Judge at National Pie Championships

Paula Fisher, the 2005 Michigan Apple Queen, has been selected as a judge for the APC Crisco National Pie Championships in Celebration, Florida, on Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23.
Fisher will be available the morning the judging begins, Friday, April 22 for interviews on Michigan radio stations. She will be able to discuss the event itself, the Michigan apple industry, as well as why the American Pie Council feels she is qualified to judge apple pies.
The national event is covered by many media outlets, including the Food Network. Crisco is the main sponsor of the event, and the Michigan Apple Committee is a supporting sponsor.
