Each season Michigan's apple growing families work hard to harvest the nation's best-tasting apples. This season approximately 20 million bushels of apples will come from Michigan orchards. This means there will be plenty of fresh Michigan Apples and processed products, available for consumers to enjoy throughout the winter.

We invite you to celebrate the upcoming holidays and the conclusion of our harvest with one of our Michigan apple pie recipes.

There are many apple varieties that are great for baking at your local grocery store. Michigan apples can also be found in canned pie filling. Or, if you don't want to do the baking, Michigan apples are also used in many store-bought pies!

The Michigan Apple Committee is a grower-funded nonprofit organization devoted to promotion, education and research activities to distinguish the Michigan apple and encourage its consumption by consumers in Michigan and around the world. For more information, visit www.MichiganApples.com.
