Apple Queen to Appear at Frankenmuth Festival

Frankenmuth, Mich – 2006 Michigan Apple Queen Ashley Wright of Belding will be attending the 48th Annual Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival in June. Wright will be making her appearance at the festival on Sunday, June 11, 2006, during the Bavarian Festival Parade.
“I am really looking forward to attending the Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival. Frankenmuth is such a unique town and the people are always so fun and welcoming! I know that the court and I are going to enjoy the parade and festival so much!” said Wright.
Wright will be joined by first runner-up Jessica Rasch of Conklin and second runner-up Sarah Heffron of Belding on the Michigan Apple Industry float. The Apple Land-themed float will be one of over 100 units in this year's parade.
