Apple Fondue

Apple Fondue is a rich and flavorful twist on a classic, blending creamy gruyère and cheddar with the sweetness of Michigan Apples. Infused with white wine and calvados, this indulgent appetizer is perfect for sharing, whether as a cozy starter or a show-stopping entrée.

Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ cup white wine
  • ¼ cup calvados
  • ½ lb. gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb. cheddar, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 Michigan Apple, small diced
  • 1 crusty baguette
Serving Size:
  • Serves 4
Directions:
  1. Bring wine and calvados to boil and reduce by half.
  2. Mix shredded cheeses together with cornstarch and add slowly into wine mixture, stirring frequently.
  3. Add diced apples, cook for 3-4 minutes on gentle simmer then serve with crusty bread.
