Family vacations to be given in random drawing
(DeWitt, Mich.) – While supporting Michigan Apples 900 family-operated farms, Midwest consumers can enter to win a family vacation at Boyne Highlands or Boyne Mountain, northern Michigan’s finest resort attractions in any season.
This is a joint initiative, between Michigan Apple Committee (MAC) and BOYNE, to promote Michigan as an agri-tourism destination, alive with locally-grown Michigan Apples, family fun, and beautiful scenery.
“Michigan is the perfect tourist destination and a state with vast agricultural resources,” said Denise Donohue, Executive Director of the Michigan Apple Committee. “This sweepstakes program allows consumers to see Michigan as a vacation destination where you can golf, ski, and do so much more, depending on the season.”
Three winners, chosen from a random drawing to be held in January 2012, will each receive a prize package that includes two nights’ hotel lodging and choice of ziplining, skiing/snowboarding or golf at Boyne Highlands or Boyne Mountain resorts for a family of four. Participants must be residents of Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin or Kentucky and have until December 31, 2011 to enter. For official rules and details on how to enter, visit MichiganApples.com/contests.
“Our resorts support a great number of Michigan products, and we hope to bring even more exposure to Michigan’s abundant agricultural offerings through the sweepstakes,” said Julie Ard, director of resort marketing for BOYNE. “Last year’s sweepstakes was extremely successful, so we are pleased to again partner with MAC to promote this great state.”
