Here’s everything you need to recreate it at home ⬇️

Five-Step Michigan Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 package Pie Crust (2 per package)
- 7 cups thinly sliced, peeled tart Michigan apples
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
-  ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp butter, cut into small pieces

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare and roll out the double-crust pie dough. Line your 9-inch pie pan with the bottom crust.
- In a large bowl, toss the apples with sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly coated.
- Spread the apple filling into the crust and dot with butter. Top with the second crust.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the crust is golden and the apples are tender. Tent the edges with foil if they brown too quickly.
- Let cool slightly, slice, and enjoy
