As the 4th of July weekend approaches, we thought As the 4th of July weekend approaches, we thought we would give you the PERFECT fruit salad recipe, featuring, of course, Michigan Apple stars! Combine your fruit in a large bowl and grab your favorite Michigan apples. Slice thin and cut out little stars using a star cookie cutter and soak them in a bowl with cold water and a splash of lemon juice (this helps keep them from browning!) What is your favorite 4th of July treat?
