Baked Cinnamon Apple Pastries
Easy 4-Ingredient Apple Pastries from A Zesty Bite!
If you've been to the grocery store lately you will notice the abundant supply of Michigan Honeycrisp apples. They are sweet with a crispness that you can't ignore. They are perfect alone, topped with peanut butter or cut into slices for a salad topping. There is no wrong way to indulge yourself with this fruit.
These Baked Cinnamon Apple Pastries are a great way to incorporate the Honeycrisp apple into a breakfast or dessert dish. You can wake up to these pastries or sit down with your afternoon tea with them as a snack. The best part is that you only need four ingredients and about 20 minutes of your time.
Let's start off with the main ingredient–> Michigan Honeycrisp apples. I chose this particular kind over the others because it's my favorite and I like the crispness that it brings to the pastries after being baked in the oven. The apples are topped off with cinnamon, sugar and then placed in the center of a crescent roll before being rolled up. Off to the oven they go for 15 minutes of baking time. I topped mine off with powdered sugar but feel free to forego the extra sugar on top.
