Michigan Apple Festival at Eastern Market

WHO:          Celebration of the 2010 Michigan Apple harvest with activities for the entire family.

WHAT:        Book reading with the 2010 Michigan Apple Queen, Michigan Apple Pie Contest,
                    appearance by the Michigan Apple Mascot “Lil’ Mac,” cider-pressing demonstrations,
                    square dancing, live entertainment, free children’s activities including face painting and
                    coloring, cooking demonstrations, apple tasting, U of D Mercy School of Dentistry will provide
                    free patient screening and patient education in oral health as well as hand out dental hygiene packs.
